Do you find that you are increasingly aware of your DNA?

If I throw a piece of gum in the trash, DNA. Drink a coke from a can, or straw, or cut myself shaving.

For some of the same reasons you would shred a credit card receipt, it would be nice to remove your DNA from that piece of gum before you throw it away.
